Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators / Storepersons to join their teams across both their warehouse facility in Smithfield and manufacturing facility in Marsden Park.

Job Details
Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm

About the Role
These positions offer a combination of forklift operation and hands‑on warehouse/manufacturing duties. You will be responsible for supporting the production, storage and dispatch materials while ensuring products are handled safely, efficiently and in line with quality standards.
Successful candidates must be willing to spend time both on and off the forklift, assisting with picking, packing, stock control and general operational duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate counterbalance and high reach forklifts to safely transport, store and relocate materials throughout the facility
- Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring stock is accurately received and dispatched
- Pick, pack and prepare orders in accordance with customer requirements
- Strap cartons and secure loads ready for transportation
- Stage and prepare orders for dispatch
- Conduct stock counts and assist with inventory control activities
- Perform quality inspections on products and materials before dispatch
- Measure materials accurately using tape measures and production specifications
- Operate basic hand and power tools to support manufacturing and assembly activities
- Maintain warehouse and work area cleanliness and organisation
- Assist with general warehouse, production and storeperson duties as required
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Current HRW Forklift Licence with experience operating both counterbalance and high reach forklifts
- Minimum 2 years’ forklift operating experience within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Previous experience within steel, metal, aluminium or manufacturing environments highly regarded
- Side loader forklift experience is advantageous
- Experience picking, packing, receiving, dispatch and stock control
- Comfortable performing manual handling and working off the forklift when required
- Experience using tape measures and basic hand and power tools is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to ongoing employment
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices
