We're working with a highly regarded Sydney-based remedial construction contractor to appoint its next General Manager . Akey executive position leading the business through its next phase of growth.

This is a rare opportunity to join an established organisation with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex building remediation projects across the commercial, residential and strata sectors. You'll work closely with the Directors to drive business performance, strengthen client relationships, develop high-performing teams and help shape the strategic direction of the business.

The successful candidate will bring strong commercial judgement, operational leadership and the ability to inspire confidence with clients, consultants and project teams alike.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership across all areas of the business.
- Drive operational performance, profitability and sustainable growth.
- Oversee the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of complex remediation projects.
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with clients, consultants and key industry stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing leadership team.
- Provide executive oversight across commercial performance, governance, risk and business planning.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and overall business performance.

About You

You’ll likely bring senior leadership experience from within building remediation, specialist contracting or the broader construction industry , together with a proven ability to lead people, improve business performance and deliver commercial outcomes.

You’ll also demonstrate:





- Proven senior leadership experience within construction or building remediation.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with responsibility for business performance.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across complex project environments.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- A strategic mindset backed by solid operational execution.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Building, Business or a related discipline.
