You are eligible to be appointed as a graduate school psychologist in Western Australian public schools if you:

- hold (or are eligible for) provisional registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- have worked for less than two years (or not at all) in a school psychologist role.

As a graduate school psychologist, you will have access to:

- Psychology Board of Australia approved supervision to support the completion of your internship program.
- School Psychologist Induction Program, a two-year program of skilled learning.

Note: If you have worked as a school psychologist for two years or more, you can apply to be considered for fixed term and permanent vacancies through the School Psychologist Employment Register. You are not eligible to be employed as a graduate school psychologist.
