About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a respected Aboriginal organisation in Bendigo to recruit an experienced Senior Case Manager - Aboriginal Children in Aboriginal Care. This opportunity is specifically suited to experienced Melbourne Child Protection practitioners seeking relocation to a regional community‑focused role.
Key Responsibilities
- Working collaboratively with children, families, and community to achieve sustainable outcomes
- Operating within the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005
- Exercising legal delegations and statutory responsibilities
- Undertaking protective interventions where required
- Supporting Aboriginal children to remain connected to family, culture, and community
- Managing complex and high‑risk cases within a senior capacity
Qualifications
- Greater community connection
- A culturally strong and values‑led organisation
- Continued senior‑level case management work
- A meaningful long‑term career move
- Current or recent CPP3 Child Protection Practitioner experience
- Minimum two years’ experience at CPP3 level within mainstream Child Protection
- Strong statutory Child Protection experience
- Confidence operating within legislative and court frameworks
- Demonstrated capability managing complex and high‑risk cases
- Commitment to culturally safe and respectful practice
- Willingness to relocate from Melbourne to Bendigo (if not already local)
