As part of the Trade Counter team (known as Branch Staff) in Tamworth, you’ll help plumbers and other tradespeople access the products they need for building and renovation projects and undertake other tasks that keep the branch running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Providing customer service and information about products.
- Providing quotes both in person and over the phone.
- Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities.
- Keeping the branch tidy and safe.
- Making occasional deliveries to customers using a company vehicle.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service and enjoyment of helping customers both in person and over the phone.
- Ability to pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate.
- Computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
- A clean, valid driver’s licence and openness to working various shifts,
including weekends.
- Desire to develop a career – locally, within the network or at head office.
