Position

Overview The Senior Regional Build Manager, ANZ, is a critical role within the HYROX ANZ event delivery team, managing across pre-event planning, project management, logistics coordination, and operational execution. Reporting to the Head of Operations for APAC you will be responsible for leading the build department in ANZ co-ordinating with other regional leads to ensure events are delivered to a world class standard and share learnings from your events to ensure the wider APAC success. This role supports the end-to-end planning and delivery of events; from initial venue planning and supplier coordination through to on-site build, race operations, and pack-down.

They will help to ensure every event is delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in line with HYROX global standards for course presentation, athlete experience, branding, and operational excellence.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, with strong hands-on execution experience, and brings strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and a proactive mindset.



Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate end-to-end event build and infrastructure setup, including venue layouts, zoning, and detailed project timelines.

Manage equipment, freight, inventory, and logistics flows across events

Oversee on-site build and pack-down of race courses, workout stations, and event spaces

Mark out floor plans and oversee accurate placement of equipment, barriers, signage, and functional zones.

Coordinate internal teams, external suppliers, contractors, and production partners to ensure all deliverables are met on schedule.

Execute accurate floor plan layouts in compliance with brand guidelines.

Assist with A/V integration, power planning, and supplier access requirements.

Troubleshoot build, technical, and logistics issues in real-time to ensure full readiness before race operations.

Hands-on approach during event weeks (on-site execution, long hours)

Ensure compliance with the appropriate agencies and regulators for all event build activities.

Liaise with venue management and local authorities to ensure all permits and regulatory requirements are met.

Overseeing the event branding from start to finish from conception, decision making, design,



production and installation working with various departments to ensure deliverables are met Departmental Coordination: Synchronize workflows, support and partner closely with 8+ internal departments (including event ops, Marketing, Sponsorship, Sports, Hyrox365, etc) to ensure smooth planning and successful execution.

Working closely with the ANZ Event Manager to ensure events are within budget and all costs have been accounted for.

Dynamic Operational Support: Execute a wide range of daily pre-event and on site event ad hoc administrative, logistical, and operational tasks with a can do attitude where no job is too big or small to support daily business continuity.

Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in large-scale live events, with expertise in mass-participation sports across event build, production, logistics, or project coordination.

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple moving parts.

Comfortable in fast-paced, and physically demanding environments.

Exceptional time management, ability to multitask, prioritize, and work calmly under pressure. Excellent attention to detail.

Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills with a can do attitude where no job is too big or small. .

Willingness to travel frequently across ANZ and support overseas events in Asia.
