The Role
- Preparation and analysis of monthly management reports, including balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow
- Management of quarterly reports, including analysis, review and commentary
- Maintenance of internal controls, including reconciliations and general ledger entries
- Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Analysis and reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts
- Liaise and support operations, customers and key stakeholders
- Report on cash flow and inventory management
- Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Review and analysis of departmental KPIs
- Contribute to improving the company's financial reporting systems and processes
- Ad hoc projects and analysis as required
Requirements:
- Qualified CA/CPA/CIMA
- Have highly developed analytical skills with the ability to extract data from financial systems and provide insights, recommendations and commentary
- Valuable people skills, enjoy building long-term relationships with stakeholders
- Previous experience working in the mining services sector will be highly regarded
- Proven time management skills, coupled with the ability to work to strict deadlines
