Your new company An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Urban Designer to join a progressive metropolitan council in Sydney. Your new role - Lead and deliver urban design and public domain projects from concept through to implementation.

- Manage external consultants, project briefs, contracts and design documentation.
- Provide specialist urban design advice across major projects and infrastructure initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, the community and government agencies to achieve outstanding design outcomes.
- Contribute to place making, sustainability and green infrastructure projects that improve the built environment.




- Represent the organisation in discussions with key government and industry stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed - Tertiary qualifications in Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning or a related discipline.

- At least 8 years' post-graduate experience in urban design or a comparable senior design role.
- Strong experience delivering public domain, urban renewal and city-building projects.
- Proven capability managing multidisciplinary consultant teams and design processes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, presentation and communication skills.
