Due to continued growth, we’re seeking an Intermediate/Senior Insolvency Accountant to join our Sydney team (with work from home arrangement available). You’ll work closely with senior practitioners in a collegiate environment and gain exposure to a broad range of personal insolvency appointments from commencement through to completion.
What you’ll do
- Manage personal insolvency engagements end-to-end, ensuring adherence to legislative and internal requirements.
- Conduct financial investigations and prepare accurate income contribution assessments.
- Draft clear,
comprehensive reports and correspondence for creditors and other stakeholders.
- Analyse complex information, draw insights, and present sound recommendations.
- Maintain high-quality, compliant working papers and meet statutory deadlines.
- Build effective relationships with clients, creditors, and internal stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
- 1–3 years’ experience in insolvency/restructuring (personal insolvency experience advantageous).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Commerce/any relevant fields (CA/CPA qualified or progressing).
- Solid analytical skills and attention to detail, and confident with financial analysis.
- Great attention to detail.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to take ownership of work.
