Associate / Senior Associate, Employment & Safety

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Employment & Safety lawyer to join a leading team

- Lead high-profile employment and safety matters, mentoring junior lawyers
- Manage disputes, compliance reviews, and workplace investigations
- Provide strategic advice across industrial relations

We are seeking a talented Associate or Senior Associate to join a nationally recognised Employment & Safety team. This is a chance to work closely with senior lawyers on a broad range of challenging matters, providing practical, strategic, and high-impact advice to leading corporate clients.

Your Role

As part of the Employment & Safety team, you will:

- Lead and manage employment and safety matters, including litigation in tribunals and courts
- Advise on employment, industrial relations, discrimination, safety compliance, and corporate restructuring
- Manage large underpayment and other regulatory compliance reviews
- Conduct or advise on workplace investigations and audits
- Support enterprise bargaining processes and industrial dispute resolution
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers while contributing to the development of the practice

About You





- Australian-qualified lawyer with experience in employment and safety law, ideally from a large or international law firm, or a mix of private practice and in-house experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage matters, lead teams, and mentor junior colleagues
- Robust commercial awareness with interest in business development and client relationship management
- Collaborative, proactive, and committed to ongoing professional growth
