About the role

Quality Recruitment QLD have partnered with exciting & state of the art Early Childhood Centres on the Northside of Brisbane & the Sunshine Coast. We are seeking self-motivated, passionate educators who are available to start immediately to work relief roles throughout Brisbane. Working relief is a great way to learn and grow within the industry.

What you would be doing

Your day to day duties will include:

- We are searching for team players with a warm personality and the ability to nurture and care for the children in their supervision.
- Use a wide range of teaching methods to enhance the child's abilities.
- With a key focus on Health and Safety, compliance with routines, policies, processes and practices.
- Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment.
- We look for educators who aren't afraid to get down on the children's level and create a positive learning experience.
- Using your initiative to see what needs to be done and be a proactive asset to the team on a daily basis.

Skills and experience

We're looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

Childcare Applicants:

- Hold or working towards your Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services. Hold or working towards your Bachelor or Early Childhood. (Or ACECQA Approved)
- Educators who are Eager to work, Energetic, Professional, Motivated, Innovated, Reliable and Committed to providing quality care to children and their families.
- Experience working in a Childcare Centre. (Paid, Voluntary or placement hours)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proven willingness to learn and improve.
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care.
- Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (Or willing to obtain)

Outside School Hours Care Applicants:





- If you are studying towards or hold any of the following Qualifications OSHC work is great for flexibility around University hours.
- A Bachelor of Education, Early Childhood, Primary or Secondary Education.
- A Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services.
- Youth/Social or Disability Support or Teacher's Aide.
- A Bachelor of Music, Arts, Sports.
- Please call us if your qualification is not listed.
- Current Working with Children check, First Aid, CPR, A&A; (Or willing to obtain)
- Supervisors Certificate (favorable but not essential)
- Eager, Energetic, hardworking and passionate educators are encouraged to apply.

Childcare Cooks/ Kitchen hands:

- Current Working with Children check
- Certificate 3 or 4 in Cookery/ Hospitality
- Experience as a Cook or Chef. (In a childcare kitchen advantageous but not essential)

Must haves for all applicants

- Own reliable transport is essential.
- Must be available a minimum of 3 days each week.
- Fun, friendly & positive attitude.
