Sarge's Barbershop is seeking a highly and experienced Barber to join our premium men's grooming team at our Sanctuary Cove location.

Sarge's Barbershop is a professional men's grooming business located in one of the Gold Coast's premium lifestyle and marina precincts. We're not a discount or volume-based barbershop. Our business is built on quality, consistency, client care, hygiene, presentation and premium grooming experience.

We're looking for a barber who is confident in advance barbering and men's grooming services, including haircuts, fades, beard trims, shaving, eyebrow grooming, waxing, threading and related grooming services. The successful applicant must also be able to support our team by sharing skills, assisting with training and helping maintain consistent service standards across the business.

About The Role

As a barber at Sarge's Barbershop you will provide professional barbering and premium men's grooming services to clients, while contributing to the overall customer experience and service quality of the business.

This role requires someone who is technically skilled, reliable, well-presented and capable of working in a premium barbershop environment where customers expect consistent, high quality outcomes.

The successful applicant will also be expected to assist with training guiding junior or new staff in barbering techniques, grooming presentation, hygiene standards, client consultation and service sequencing.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Providing high-quality men's haircuts, styled cuts, skin fades and taper fades .

Performing beard trims, beard shaping and detailed beard grooming services

Providing traditional shaving services to a premium standard

Providing men's grooming services including eyebrow grooming, waxing, threading and related grooming services





Conducting client consultations and recommending suitable styles, grooming options and aftercare products

Styling hair and providing professional grooming/product advice to clients

Maintaining solid hygiene, sanitation and workstation presentation standards

Managing appointment-based and walk-in clients in a professional manner

Supporting a consistent and premium customer experience .

Assisting with grooming product recommendations and retail product sales staff training, mentoring and skills transfer to junior or new .

Assisting with Helping staff develop consistency in fades, beard work, shaving, grooming presentation and client care

Working as part of a professional team and contributing to a positive workplace culture

Skills and Experience Required

The successful applicant must have:

Proven experience as a Barber in a professional barbershop or men's grooming environment

Strong skills in men's haircuts, skin fades, taper fades, styled cuts, beard trims, beard shaping and traditional shaving

Experience providing premium men's grooming services, including eyebrow grooming, waxing threading and related grooming services

Ability to work confidently with different hair types, beard styles and client preferences

Strong client consultation skills and the ability to recommend suitable grooming services and products

Strong knowledge of hygiene,sanitation and workstation presentation standards

Ability to deliver consistent,



high-quality work in a busy appointment-based and walk-in environment

Ability to assist with training and mentoring junior or new staff

Excellent customer service and communication skills .

Strong attention to detail, reliability and personal presentation

A genuine passion for premium barbering and men's grooming
