Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 50 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking an experienced Centre Cook to join our Parramtta Service. This position is a Full-time role - Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
Implement and modify (where required) a seasonal menu created by our nutritionist
Maintain regular checks in compliance with the NSW Food Standards Code and Health Regulations
Assist staff and families in providing high-quality education and care
Collaborate with the staff and families to facilitate learning prospects relevant to the educational program
Maintain professional, supportive and respectful relationships between management, staff, families and children
Maintain Mandatory Reporting responsibilities and requirements
About You / Qualifications
Demonstrated Cook/Chef experience in the Aged Care or Early Childhood Education and Care sector
An ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care is preferred, but not mandatory
Alternatively,
a relevant Commercial Cooks qualification
Food Handlers Basics Certificate
Valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check
Knowledge of Food Standards Codes, EYLF and NQS
Commitment to upholding a Child Protected Organisation and inclusive practices
Maintain Mandatory National Child Safety Training
