Assistant Store Manager – Burwood, NSW

Position Purpose

As Assistant Store Manager you are responsible for effectively supporting the Store Manager in driving overall store and team performance by creating an exceptional customer experience, robust sales driving attitude, and a people first culture that prioritises succession and retention.

Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain a people first culture that values development, collaboration, transparency, and open communication.
Lead, coach and support the store team to achieve people, performance, planning, and operational goals.
Provide regular and effective feedback that prioritises professional development and internal progression in a professional and people first manner.
Ensure the team is delivering an exceptional customer experience using class sale selling steps and relevant customer service techniques.




Drive and maintain sales performance within the store in line with retail goals, budgets and KPIs.
Support the Store Manager to plan and execute VM guides to the VM guideline standard.
Conduct effective weekly store walks with the Store Manager to discuss store and team prospects and develop actions.
Serve as the primary point of contact and manager on duty during the Store Manager’s RDO and annual leave.

Qualifications
Assistant Store management experience required.
