Diesel Fitter/Mechanic (Major Repairs Centre) – Townsville (Full time) Hands‑on role focused on diagnostics, major repairs, and maintaining fleet reliability across a wide range of equipment.

Responsibilities - Diagnose and resolve complex faults across diesel and petrol equipment.
Carry out major repairs that impact fleet performance and reliability.
Take ownership of equipment quality before it returns to customers.
Work across workshop and field environments where required.
Wide range of machinery including compaction, access equipment, and earthmoving.
Exposure to different systems, faults, and operating conditions.

Qualifications - Proven mechanical troubleshooting acumen.
Mechanical trade qualification Cert III or equivalent.

Understanding of industrial equipment with both diesel and petrol engines.
Commitment to a high level of safe work culture.
Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
Current driver’s licence essential.
Experience with compaction and earthmoving equipment highly desirable.
