We’re looking for a Pan & Deep Fry Cook to join our hot kitchen team.
About the Role
As a Pan & Deep Fry Cook, you’ll prepare hot dishes using both pan and deep-fry techniques. From karaage and tempura to donburi , pan fried and charcoal grilled dishes, you’ll deliver consistency in taste, presentation, and speed in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook hot dishes using pan and deep-fry methods
Set up and stock your section with required ingredients and tools
Control cooking times and oil temperatures for quality and safety
Plate dishes with attention to presentation and portion size
Monitor ingredient freshness and assist with kitchen prep
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
Follow food hygiene and safety protocols
Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience in a similar kitchen role
Confident using pans, fryers, and gas burners
Knowledge of Japanese-style hot dishes (advantage)
Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
Ability to work efficiently in a team under pressure
Intermediate English communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
