This is a full‐time position responsible for leading the bar team, ensuring high standards of customer service, maintaining compliance with liquor licensing requirements, and contributing to the smooth running of a busy, high-volume hospitality venue that combines dining, entertainment, and functions.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing proceduresRecruit, train, roster, and supervise bar staff to ensure efficient serviceManage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships for beveragesMonitor and control bar costs, wastage, and stock varianceEnsure full compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)



and liquor licensing regulationsMaintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene across the bar areaDevelop and update drink menus, promotions, and pricing in line with venue strategyHandle customer feedback and resolve service issues promptly and professionallyCoordinate with kitchen, floor, and function staff to ensure seamless service during events and peak trading periodsMonitor point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and end-of-shift reconciliationSupport the General Manager with rostering, budgeting, and reporting as requiredAbout YouProven experience in a Bar Manager or senior bar supervisory role, ideally within a hotel, pub, or high-volume hospitality venueCurrent NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificationStrong leadership and staff management skillsSound knowledge of liquor licensing laws and compliance requirementsExcellent communication and customer service skillsExperience with stock control, cost management, and point-of-sale systemsAbility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by venue trading hoursA positive, team-oriented approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure in a quick-paced environment
