Property Officer – NSW Trustee and Guardian

Ongoing full-time opportunity. Location: Parramatta, NSW, AU, 2150. Versatile and hybrid working options available. Clerk Grade: Level 3/4. Base salary $87,199 p.a. to $95,482 p.a. plus 12% superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the team

The Financial Performance and Investments Division supports the financial and investment needs of our clients and the maintenance of their assets. Services cover the management of properties, shares, investments, processing of customer and third‑party payments and receipts, handling of taxation matters, developing financial plans and budgets,



and providing corporate frameworks, tools and services for procurement, project management governance, and budgeting and reporting.

About the role

Property Officer in the Property Service Centre supports the delivery of high‑quality, consistent and timely property services for customer‑owned properties. Responsibilities include coordinating property inspections, repairs, maintenance and associated administrative tasks. You will work closely with customers, beneficiaries, internal teams and external service providers to ensure services are delivered in line with agreed quality standards, budgets and timeframes. You will manage competing priorities and handle high‑volume property matters, provide clear updates to stakeholders, maintain accurate records and, when necessary, escalation to the Principal Property Officer.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage high‑volume work, especially property repairs, maintenance and inspections.
- Effectively manage external service providers to ensure timely delivery of repair, maintenance and inspection services.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, families, stakeholders, colleagues and service providers.
- Handle competing priorities,



maintain accurate records and provide timely updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Respond to enquiries and issues with sensitivity, discretion and sound judgement.
- Use systems and processes to support service delivery and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Understand NSW Trustee and Guardian’s key services and customer base, including experience supporting people with disabilities, vulnerable people or older people.

Qualifications and Experience

Relevant experience in coordinating high‑volume property work, preferably within a government or large organisational context. Demonstrated ability to manage external service providers and deliver results within budget and timelines. Strong communication skills, discretion and decision‑making ability. Experience with registration of service requests and maintenance of records is desirable. Understanding of relevant statutory and regulatory obligations for property care and services.
