The Role

Punjabi Digital Content Producer responsible for the production and delivery of distinctive and creative multi‑platform content (podcasts, articles, and audiovisual) for the Punjabi‑speaking audience.

- Undertake journalism and content production tasks across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency speaking, writing, and typing in Punjabi and English; may include a language assessment.
- Source leads and produce regular online content to meet traffic and KPI targets.
- Experience with Facebook, X, and Instagram is an advantage.
- Plan and manage digital content campaigns for key community events.
- Contribute to cross‑language initiatives and divisional objectives.
- Maintain strong administrative abilities: accuracy, numeracy, organisational skills, and advanced editorial skills.
- Use systems and equipment to edit and publish content.
- Track record of producing original stories about the Punjabi‑speaking audience in Australia within tight deadlines.
- Maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders.

About You

- Professional broadcast journalism experience, able to plan, prepare, produce, present,



and deliver multi‑platform content.
- Ability to write, compile, and present news, sport, and current affairs from a variety of sources.
- Computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
- Proficiency in English and Punjabi, both written and spoken, with clear broadcast delivery.

Requirements

- Full working rights in Australia; must reside in Sydney or Melbourne.
- Permanent, full‑time position.
- Will undertake language and journalist assessments as part of the recruitment process.
