Your recent company Our client is a leading provider of workforce accommodation and hospitality services, supporting major operations across Australia. Due to continued demand, they are seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to join their Supply Chain & Procurement team in a long-term temporary assignment with strong potential to become permanent.
Your new role
- Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain leaders to support supplier negotiations and tender processes.
- Deliver commercial analysis, spend reviews and cost-saving recommendations.
- Build financial models to assess pricing, rebates, supplier performance and contract opportunities.
- Review commercial agreements and monitor rebate compliance and recovery.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and management reporting.
- Provide insights and scenario analysis to support business decision-making.
- Drive improvements to reporting, processes and analytical tools.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in a Senior Commercial Analyst, FP&A;,
Procurement Analyst or Finance Business Partner role.
- Strong commercial modelling and analytical capability.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
- Experience working with large datasets and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or JDE.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- CA/CPA qualification or progress toward completion is advantageous.
