Overview

The Corporate Finance Manager is a key member of the Group Finance team, supporting Estia Health’s financial sustainability, capital allocation and growth agenda.

Responsibilities

- Evaluate investment opportunities and lead financial analysis to deliver commercial solutions with measurable financial outcomes.
- Support property development, acquisitions, divestments and related due diligence.
- Lead capital management and strategy, including governance and reporting to support investment decisions and capital planning.
- Provide business support across projects and strategic initiatives; develop and maintain commercial models and opportunity analyses.
- Oversee fixed asset register and coordinate tax considerations related to capital expenditure and asset lifecycle management.
- Contribute to financial reporting, systems development and enterprise-wide finance transformation.
- Collaborate with Finance, Property, Operations, Legal and external advisers to support investment decisions and strategic projects.

Qualifications and Experience

- Tertiary qualification in Accounting and membership of CPA, CA or equivalent.
- Robust experience in capital management, financial modelling, and investment case development.
- Demonstrated knowledge of fixed asset accounting, tax treatment of capital expenditure, and asset lifecycle management.
- Proven ability to support complex transformation, property development or infrastructure projects at pace.




- Strong communication skills to translate complex financial information for executive audiences and strong stakeholder engagement focused on collaboration and adaptability.
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach and develop a direct report while partnering with senior stakeholders.
- Experience in aged care, healthcare, property, infrastructure or other capital-intensive environments is highly regarded.
- Comfort with financial systems, large data sets and process improvement initiatives; involvement in ongoing finance systems development and broader strategic projects.

Location and Working Arrangements

You’ll ideally be based in Sydney where you will manage one direct report. The office is centrally located near public transport and hybrid working is supported.
