We are seeking a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join a high-performing Sydney Building Services team, stepping into a key role delivering a major mission‑critical project while supporting a strong long‑term project pipeline.

This opportunity will suit a senior consultant who enjoys technical leadership, collaboration and meaningful project ownership, within a workplace that genuinely prioritises flexibility, trust and balance.

The Role

In this role, you will:

- Lead the hydraulic design and delivery of a large-scale mission‑critical project
- Take end‑to‑end ownership of hydraulic design from concept through to construction
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- Coordinate closely with other building services disciplines, architects and external consultants
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and project stakeholders
- Review designs, documentation and site works to ensure quality, compliance and constructability

Once the initial project is complete, you will continue to contribute across a diverse portfolio of projects including health, education, defence, commercial, transport and data centres. This provides variety, continuity and long‑term career stability.

About You

You will bring:

- 7+ years’ experience as a Hydraulic Engineer within a building services consultancy
- Proven experience delivering complex,



large‑scale projects
- Strong technical capability and sound knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC and authority requirements
- Confidence leading design packages and managing priorities across multiple stakeholders
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative, client‑focused approach
- A desire to work in a supportive team where quality, people and balance genuinely matter
