The Role
We are seeking a mechanically minded professional to join the operations team at a prominent, large-scale manufacturing and agricultural facility in Hillston, where you will take ownership of critical maintenance and repair across our diverse olive orchard and processing operations.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your daily contributions will ensure the seamless functionality of our high-performance fleet, including tractors, harvesters, and specialised processing equipment, requiring a proactive approach to troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults to minimise downtime throughout our busy production seasons. This is a dynamic, hands-on opportunity where your ability to diagnose complex issues, execute exact welding and fabrication repairs, and coordinate preventative maintenance programs will directly impact the efficiency and continued success of our premium olive oil operations.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a highly skilled, safety-conscious trade professional who thrives in a hands-on agricultural setting and possesses the technical expertise to independently manage complex mechanical and structural challenges.

- Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Fitter, Welder, or similar.
- Proven experience in maintaining heavy plant or agricultural machinery.
- Strong welding and fabrication capability with sound mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to independently diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic faults.
- Commitment to maintaining high workplace safety and quality standards.
