Inventia Genetic Technologies (IGT) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Bovine OPU and Embryo Transfer Specialist to join our team of experts in bovine reproductive technologies.

This is a unique prospect to be at the forefront of animal genetics, working with progressive producers and cutting-edge IVF programs across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform transvaginal ultrasound-guided ovum pickup (OPU) on donor cattle
- Conduct the transfer of fresh or frozen bovine embryos into recipient cows
- Understand and liaise with customers on synchronization protocols
- Collaborate with field and laboratory embryologists & office staff to optimize results
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory and quality control standards

What We’re Looking For

- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science or DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) or equivalent qualification in animal reproduction desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years proven hands-on experience with bovine OPU and embryo transfer (ET) techniques.




- Proficient in reproductive ultrasound and sedation protocols
- Strong attention to detail and animal handling skills
- Ability to travel to client sites and work flexibly in the field and lab settings
- Proven ability to work within a team environment
- Intermediate verbal and written English communication skills is a must (for technical reporting and team collaboration)
