This is an opportunity for Full time or Part Time doctors with potential for partnership/ownership.
- SURGERY OWNERSHIP: We are looking for a GP interested in ownership/partnership.
Not essential.
- CONTRACT TERMS: $150 per hour guarantee or at least 70%, whichever is higher.
Flexible schedule and leave arrangements.
No onerous contracts.
OVERVIEW: The Practice is a new medical centre opening in early 2021.
All the facilities will be new and first class.
There are a large number of families moving into the local area as well as established population in the catchment area.
There is a higher than average prevalence of chronic disease in the community.
SURGERY LAYOUT: The Practice has seven consulting rooms, a two bed treatment room, pathology collection room, administration office and large tea room.
The practice is fully air conditioned and as the practice was recently built all the facilities are modern and at a very high standard.
SURGERY FACILITIES: The opening hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Most days there are 1 to 2 practitioners on and standard appointments are 15 minutes although doctors can arrange their appointments how they prefer.
The practice uses Best Practice software and it is 100% paperless.
The dedicated 60 bay car park, adjacent to a pharmacy and a strong trading IGA supermarket.
The practice is convenient for patients and doctors.
TREATMENT ROOM: The Practice will have a 2 bed treatment room, immunisation fridge, oxygen, CPR, wound dressing trolley and equipment, ear syringe equipment, ECG, spirometry, iron infusion equipment, doppler and other standard equipment you would find in a well appointed treatment room.
ADMIN SETUP There will be a dedicate practice manager and administration staff.
The practice will be fully accredited.
NURSING SERVICES: The Practice has full nurse coverage.
The nurses will be trained to complete GPMP’s/TCAs/Health Assessments/Cycle of Care etc.
SKILLS OR INTERESTS SOUGHT: The practice would like to attract a GP that is interested in family health.
An interest in womens health would be advantageous.
There is a lack of skin cancer services in the area and this would be an excellent opportunity for a new doctor.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: * FRACGP/FACRRM or VR qualifications preferred * General or Specialist registration with AHPRA
