Requirements:
Qualification:
Diploma of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
Highly Desirable:
Successful completion of modules related to medication administration and peripheral intravenous (IV) therapy.
Shift Workers:
Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
Driver Licence:
This position requires the applicant to possess an appropriate license to operate a Class C (car) motor vehicle.
Verification of license must be provided prior to commencement of duty.
Applicant ideally will have a working knowledge of a range of software packages used in the clinical and management environment, e.g., Microsoft Windows, Excel, Access, Matrix and Power Point.
Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
