About the role:
Step into a senior clinical leadership position as a Level 3 Occupational Therapist in our Mental Health Recovery Unit.
You'll provide expert assessment and therapeutic interventions while guiding junior staff and driving service improvements across Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
This role offers the autonomy to make high-level clinical decisions while working collaboratively within a dynamic multidisciplinary team focused on mental health recovery.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based occupational therapy services to mental health clients, demonstrating advanced clinical reasoning and operating with minimal supervision in your specialty area
Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise client outcomes, facilitate secure discharge planning, and ensure care is delivered within professional and ethical standards
Provide clinical supervision, mentorship and professional development support to Level 1/2 occupational therapists, allied health assistants and students on placement
Drive quality improvement initiatives,
service development and research activities while contributing to professional networks and maintaining cultural competence in Aboriginal health outcomes

What We're Looking For
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and a current AHPRA registration.
Good time management skills
Passion for helping others
Current NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to travel.
