Dental Nurse - Join a Team You'll Love Coming to Work With

We are seeking a Dental Nurse to join the team at Design Orthodontics in Manning, WA. This is a part‑time position that offers the perfect balance between qualified growth and personal commitments. This position is central to creating a welcoming and efficient environment where patients feel valued and cared for throughout their orthodontic journey.

Key responsibilities

- Providing chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures and patient consultations
- Preparing and sterilising dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols
- Recording patient treatment notes and maintaining accurate dental records
- Taking intraoral and extraoral radiographs
- Taking x-rays (OPG and Lateral Ceph)
- Assisting with patient education on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
- Managing patient flow to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Greeting patients and providing a warm, professional reception experience
- Supporting laboratory communication for appliance fabrication and adjustments
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe clinical environment
- Responding compassionately to patient concerns

What we’re looking for

- Qualification as a Dental Nurse or equivalent recognised dental nursing credential
- Experience working in a dental or orthodontic practice
- Knowledge of infection control and workplace health and safety




- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate patient records
