We are seeking an experienced and motivated Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our busy Orthopaedic Clinic on a part-time basis (3 days per week).

This role is ideal for a nurse with strong clinical skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a patient-focused approach to care. You will work closely with our orthopaedic surgeons and clinical team to support patients throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities

- Wound assessment, dressing changes, and post-operative wound care

- Assisting with patient consultations and clinical procedures

- Patient education regarding post-operative care and recovery

- Coordinating appointments, referrals, and follow-up care

- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and medical records

- Managing clinical stock and supplies

- Telephone triage and responding to patient enquiries

- Contribute flexibly to both clinical care and the day-to-day administration of the practice.

- Supporting surgeons and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Essential Criteria

- Current registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA





- Previous experience in an orthopaedic, surgical, or specialist medical setting

- Demonstrated experience in wound care management

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent organisational and time management abilities

- Proficiency with electronic medical records and computer systems

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- A team-first attitude is imperative. As part of a small business, the successful candidate must be adaptable, proactive and willing to take on responsibilities outside their usual duties when required.

Desirable

- Experience in orthopaedics, fracture management, or post-operative care

- Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices

- Experience with specialist consulting suites or private practice environments
