Head of Sales – Robotics ANZ

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced medical device leader to take ownership of the commercial growth strategy for a rapidly expanding surgical robotics business across Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this senior leadership position will be responsible for driving market adoption, building surgeon and hospital relationships, and leading the commercial execution of a next-generation robotic surgical platform.

This is a rare opportunity for a proven MedTech sales leader who understands the complexity of introducing innovative capital equipment into hospitals and can influence at every level from executive stakeholders through to surgeons, theatre teams, and clinical partners.

The Opportunity As Head of Sales – Robotics ANZ, you will lead the national sales strategy while managing and developing a high-performing commercial team, including an experienced Regional Sales Manager.

You will play a pivotal role in expanding market presence, strengthening key customer relationships, supporting clinical adoption, and identifying new growth opportunities across the ANZ healthcare landscape.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on commercial engagement, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-growth environment and wants to make a significant impact within the surgical robotics space.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the ANZ robotics sales strategy aligned with business growth objectives
- Lead,



mentor and develop the regional sales function to achieve commercial targets
- Build robust relationships with surgeons, hospital executives, procurement teams and key opinion leaders
- Drive adoption of robotic technology through clinical engagement and value-based selling
- Manage complex capital equipment sales cycles within public and private healthcare environments
- Partner closely with marketing, clinical education and global teams to support market expansion
- Identify current opportunities and develop long-term growth strategies across the region
- Represent the business as a senior commercial leader within the surgical robotics market

About You You will be an accomplished medical device sales leader with a strong track record of success selling complex technology into hospitals.
You will ideally bring:

- Strong urology experience and contacts
- Proven leadership experience within medical devices, surgical technology or capital equipment
- Experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams
- Strong understanding of hospital sales cycles and clinical adoption pathways
- Experience engaging with surgeons and senior healthcare stakeholders
- A commercial mindset with the ability to build markets and drive growth
- Exposure to surgical robotics, robotic-assisted surgery or advanced surgical technologies highly regarded
