An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Paediatric Inpatient at Gosford Hospital, part of the Central Coast Local Health District.
This position offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care for children and their families across a variety of settings. Working within a collaborative and multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting safe and effective clinical care while fostering the development of junior nursing staff.
This role is ideally suited to a nurse who is passionate about paediatrics and seeking to expand their expertise within a supportive, flexible, and innovative care environment. Applicants with paediatric experience are encouraged to apply; however, we also welcome nurses who are eager to grow and develop in this specialty with the support of a committed and experienced team.
About the Role
The Gosford Paediatric Inpatient Unit provides coordinated care across hospital and community settings, delivering acute and sub-acute services to children and their families.
This is an excellent opportunity to build your paediatric nursing career within a supportive, innovative, and collaborative environment. Working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the delivery of exceptional clinical care while further developing your skills and knowledge across a broad range of paediatric specialties.

About You
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Passionate about working with children and families in a healthcare setting.
- Committed to teamwork, professional growth, and high standards of care.
- Previous paediatric experience is desirable, but not essential – we’re happy to support the right candidate to grow in the role
