Billy Lids Kindy is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our Kindergarten team each Wednesday and Thursday.

This position would suit a qualified Early Childhood Teacher looking for a consistent two-day working week within a supportive, well-established, family-owned early childhood service.

About the role

You will work from 8:00am to 4:00pm each Wednesday and Thursday, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Working alongside our experienced Kindergarten team, you will support the delivery of a responsive, play-based program guided by the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline and Early Years Learning Framework.

The position is available on either a permanent part-time or casual basis, depending on the successful applicant’s preference and suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

- Holds an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification, or is actively working towards an approved qualification
- Holds current Queensland Teacher Registration, where applicable
- Has a genuine passion for early childhood education
- Builds warm, respectful relationships with children and families
- Values child-led learning, intentional teaching and inclusive practice




- Works collaboratively and communicates effectively as part of a team
- Understands their responsibilities relating to children’s safety, supervision and wellbeing
- Holds, or can obtain, all required clearances and early childhood first aid qualifications

Remuneration

$45.80–$68.13 per hour, inclusive of the 15% Worker Retention Payment and applicable casual loading. Rate determined by experience and employment type.
