Cahill Transport is seeking experienced HC Drivers to join our Melbourne operations, completing scheduled shuttle deliveries between Laverton and Burwood in support of a major Victorian construction project.

This is a full-time, ongoing day shift role suited to drivers with experience transporting construction freight and working safely on construction, civil or infrastructure projects.

What You'll Be Doing

- Complete scheduled shuttle deliveries between our Laverton depot and the Burwood construction site on a strict pre-booked timetable.
- Safely transport construction freight in line with scheduled delivery times.
- Secure loads using straps, dogs and chains in accordance with NHVR load restraint requirements.
- Hook and unhook trailers as part of the shuttle cycle.
- Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections and complete delivery documentation.
- Maintain compliance with OH&S;, NHVR and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
- Complete occasional deliveries to other Melbourne construction sites as required.
- Monday to Friday day shift between 5:00am and 5:00pm, with overtime available.

What You'll Bring

- Current HC Licence with a minimum of 2 years' HC driving experience.
- Previous construction freight delivery experience (essential).
- Experience coupling and uncoupling trailers safely and efficiently.
- Confident using straps, dogs and chains for load restraint.
- White Card (or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement,



with support provided).
- Sound knowledge of Melbourne metropolitan roads and surrounding suburbs.
- Reliable, safety-focused and able to work independently while meeting scheduled delivery times.
