An Southern SA hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice from 19/07/2026 to 02/08/2026.

1600 Sunday 19th July – 1600 Sunday 2nd August 2026 (can be split into smaller shifts)

Clinical Requirements

- Caring for patients when the primary obstetricians aren’t available
- Assisting with LSCS
- Assisting with neonatal resus
- Birthing management for any unallocated patients or those from out of town
- Managing antenatal and postnatal patients when called by the midwife.

The rate is $ /day

- Located on the far west of the Eyre Peninsula 550 km north west of Adelaide. Known as the oyster capital of Australia and has an approximate population of 2,289 residents.
- On call component is required
- Flights, accommodation + car hire costs covered by hospital.
