About the Role

As a Retail Team Leader, Makeup Artist or Fragrance Brand Ambassador, you'll play a key role in representing premium beauty and fragrance brands while delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving retail sales. Please note: Due to the nature of our retail operations, successful applicants must be available to work a minimum of four (4) days per week, including weekends and late-night trading on Thursdays and Fridays. Flexibility to work across multiple retail locations is highly regarded.

Depending on your experience and position, your responsibilities may include:

- Delivering exceptional customer service and personalised beauty consultations.
- Demonstrating and recommending premium fragrance, skincare and cosmetic products.
- Creating memorable customer experiences through engaging product knowledge and storytelling.
- Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintaining exceptional grooming, merchandising and visual presentation standards.
- Representing luxury brands with professionalism, confidence and integrity.
- Supporting promotional activations, product launches and retail events.
- Working collaboratively with retail partners and the OSMP management team.
- Completing daily sales reporting and operational requirements.

Retail Team Leader Responsibilities

Successful Retail Team Leaders will also:

- Lead, coach and motivate Makeup Artists and Fragrance Brand Ambassadors.
- Support retail activations and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Assist with rostering, team coordination and operational planning.
- Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance with client expectations.
- Provide performance feedback and reporting to management.




- Act as the key liaison between OSMP, retail partners and field teams.
- Support current team members through coaching, training and on-the-job development.

Where You'll Work

At OSMP, we operate across a diverse portfolio of premium retail environments throughout Melbourne, partnering with Australia's leading department stores, specialty beauty retailers and shopping centres. Our team represents some of the world's most recognised beauty and fragrance brands across permanent retail counters, luxury pop-up activations and promotional events. You may have the prospect to work across a variety of retail partners, including:

- Myer
- David Jones
- Sephora
- Westfield Shopping Centres
- Luxury retail pop-up activations and experiential events

Retail Team Leaders

Retail Team Leaders are expected to provide leadership and operational support across all Melbourne locations, including:

- Melbourne CBD
- Chadstone
- Highpoint
- Fountain Gate
- Werribee

This role requires flexibility to travel between retail sites, support multiple activations and counters, coach team members and maintain exceptional operational standards across all locations.

Makeup Artists

You'll primarily work across:

- Melbourne CBD
- Chadstone
- Highpoint

Please note: Makeup Artists should ideally be available to work across both Melbourne CBD and Chadstone, as these locations host the majority of our makeup activations.

Fragrance Brand Ambassadors

You'll have the opportunity to work across:

- Melbourne CBD
- Chadstone
- Highpoint
- Fountain Gate
- Werribee

About You

We're looking for candidates who:
- Previous experience in beauty, cosmetics, fragrance, skincare or premium retail sales (preferred).
- Makeup Artist qualifications or skilled experience (highly regarded).
- Leadership or supervisory experience is essential for Retail Team Leader applicants.
- A passion for beauty, luxury retail and delivering exceptional customer service.
- A confident and engaging approach to customer interactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.




- A strong sales focus with the ability to achieve and exceed KPIs.
- Professional presentation with exceptional grooming standards.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
- A minimum availability of four (4) days per week is essential, including weekends and late-night trading on Thursdays and Fridays.
- Reliable transport and flexibility to travel between locations (essential for Retail Team Leaders).
- Mandarin and/or Vietnamese language skills are highly regarded to support our diverse customer base.
- Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
