- Employment Type: Part-Time (16.6 hours/week), Fixed Term (until 12 March 2027)
- Salary: Grade 2 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging

About the role

The Paediatric Dietitian works within Western Health’s Integrated Community Health Service, primarily at the Melton site, delivering evidence-based, family-centred dietetic care for children. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team and may involve individual clinics, joint consultations with paediatricians, and participation in specialised clinics such as the Paediatric Eating and Assessment Clinic.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver evidence-based dietetic services for children with diverse needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality standards.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and external agencies.
- Participate in continuous improvement, professional development, and supervision.
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and child protection obligations.

About you

- Tertiary qualification in Dietetics and eligibility for membership with Dietitians Australia.
- Experience in paediatric dietetic assessment and intervention.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills.
- Experience in a range of paediatric conditions.
