About the Role

Planning and Scheduling Manager in Sydney supporting a major, long‑term project. Working closely with the Senior Construction Manager and the wider project team, you will assist with the development of integrated project plans and programs, provide status updates, program reporting, and implement production controls and critical‑path analysis using Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

- Create and maintain project plans, reports, charts, schedules, databases and records to provide up‑to‑date and accurate information for decision making.
- Analyze and monitor project programs, including risk, resources, curves and spreadsheets.
- Maintain and update the Project Master Schedule and other site schedules, identifying opportunities at all levels.
- Report program status to key stakeholders, both internal and external, on a regular basis.
- Perform planning activities, including research and document preparation, to support established planning guidelines.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in the construction industry on building/construction projects (commercial, residential, healthcare, government).




- Experience in project planning, scheduling, project controls and program benchmarking.
- Advanced Primavera P6 skills.
- Ability to graphically represent program methodology and present program information to stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- High level of interpersonal, communication and people skills.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational and time‑management skills with problem‑solving ability.
