KCI Industries is seeking a Junior Warehouse and Spare Parts Assistant to join our dynamic warehousing and Spare Parts team. This is a full-time position based in Welshpool, WA 6106 . In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility, assisting with the receipt, storage, and distribution of spare parts and equipment. You will play a vital role in ensuring our warehouse operates efficiently and that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse operations, inventory management and sales within a growing organisation.
What you’ll be doing
- Receiving and processing incoming spare parts and goods, including verification of deliveries against purchase orders.
- Accurately storing products in designated warehouse locations using our inventory management systems.
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch to customers.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and performing regular stock counts to ensure system accuracy.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and compliant manner.
- Helping internal staff with phone calls and processing service jobs.
- Supporting senior staff with administrative tasks including labeling, data entry and documentation.
- Following all health and safety procedures and contributing to a safe working environment.
- Assisting with general warehouse and admin housekeeping and organisation.
What we’re looking for
- Physical capability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 kg regularly, and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Attention to detail with solid organisational skills.
- Computer literacy and ability to learn MYOB.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude to work.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to health and safety standards in the workplace.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills in warehouse operations.
- Previous warehouse or retail experience is desirable but not essential.
- Current or willingness to obtain a forklift licence is advantageous.
