The 2024‑2027 Strategic Plan will see enhancements across services, technology and workforce to bring about better outcomes and a more accessible and flexible support system for help‑seekers.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Lifeline Australia is seeking a friendly, organised and customer‑focused Customer Support Officer to support participants and donors during the 2026 Out of the Shadows Walk campaign.



Working approximately 4 hours per day across 4 days per week, you’ll be the first point of contact for participant and donor enquiries, help troubleshoot issues within our fundraising platform, engage with our Facebook community, and play an important role in delivering a positive supporter experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a meaningful national campaign supporting suicide prevention and helping Australians honour and remember loved ones lost to suicide.

Contract period: Approximately 8 weeks, commencing late July or early August through to September 2026.

ABOUT YOU

Previous experience in customer service, administration, supporter care or a similar role.

Excellent written communication skills and a warm, empathetic approach.

Robust attention to detail and organisational skills.

Comfortable learning new online systems and platforms.

Able to work independently and manage competing priorities in a remote environment.
