The firm has a solid reputation across business advisory, property and private client services and is expanding its Wills & Estates practice. We are looking for a capable lawyer who can confidently manage matters with a high level of autonomy while benefiting from ongoing mentoring and support from senior practitioners.
The Role
You will work across a broad mix of Wills & Estates matters:
- Drafting wills and enduring powers of attorney
- Testamentary trusts
- Probate applications
- Letters of administration
- Advising executors and beneficiaries
- Succession planning for business owners
- Estate planning and estate administration
- Some estate dispute matters as experience allows
- Direct client engagement and file ownership with minimal supervision
- Collaboration with senior lawyers on complex files
About You
We are looking for someone who is technically strong, commercially minded, emotionally intelligent, and loves a collaborative working environment.
Qualifications
- 3-8 years PQE in Wills & Estates law within a Queensland private practice environment
- Strong experience running estate planning and estate administration files with limited supervision
- Experience managing client relationships directly
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- Practical, solutions‑focused approach
- Confidence managing competing priorities and deadlines
- Genuine interest in building long‑term client relationships
- Collaborative and down‑to‑earth attitude
- Bonus if you practice in other areas too!
- Experience acting for small business owners and high‑net‑worth clients will be highly regarded

- Salary package of $100,000‑$150,000 + Super (depending on experience)
