Senior BI Engineer – DWS is seeking a senior skilled to join a high‑profile data and analytics transformation program focused on modernising legacy reporting and analytics into scalable, cloud‑ready BI platforms using Tableau Cloud, Alteryx, and Power BI.

Location & Engagement

- Sydney CBD
- ACN Contractor / Max Term
- Start: ASAP (max 2 weeks notice)
- Length: 6+ months, extensions likely
- Style: Hybrid; 3+ days onsite
- Salary: up to $750/day (ACN contractor) OR up to $180K (inc super) (max term)

Role Overview

- Modernise legacy BI, reporting and analytics solutions into cloud‑based platforms
- Design and build scalable BI solutions across Tableau Cloud, Power BI and Alteryx
- Develop and optimise ETL pipelines and data transformation processes
- Work closely with stakeholders to deliver impactful reporting and insights
- Leverage advanced Python and SQL to support advanced analytics and data processing





Essential Skills & Experience

- Expert level skills in Tableau Cloud, Power BI and Alteryx
- Proven experience migrating legacy BI/reporting platforms to modern cloud environments
- Advanced SQL and Python capabilities
- Strong experience in ETL development and data transformation frameworks
- Solid understanding of modern data warehousing and analytics architectures
- Ability to work across both technical delivery and stakeholder engagement
