As we expand our portfolio in Queensland, we're seeking a dedicated HSE Advisor to join our dynamic team on a high-profile project. This project is based on the Gold Coast and will also work across other projects in the region. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Review documents and plans governing project delivery, providing input into HSE and quality plans to ensure alignment with project, business, and legislative requirements.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and Site Manager to ensure the project is adequately resourced with personnel of appropriate competency to deliver HSE and quality plans.
- Coordinate with the Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure all project undertakings align with HSE and quality plans.
- Assist in communicating project plan requirements to the wider project team and proactively support plan implementation.




- Undertake HSE and quality inspections and assessments, report, document and identify necessary actions, and ensure their implementation.
- Contribute to accurate and transparent reporting of project status through Hammertech, the monthly project control report, and other required means.

About you

- Experience with management system software, e.g., Hammertech (preferable).
- Proven experience as an HSE Advisor or similar role within the commercial construction space.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A solid commitment to fostering a safety-first culture within the workplace.
