Overview

Responsibilities

- Lead the organisation’s cyber risk management and culture uplift. Ensure consistent identification, assessment, treatment, and monitoring of cyber risks across a complex environment.
- Develop and maintain cyber risk governance frameworks. This includes processes, playbooks, and reporting mechanisms that support informed decision-making.
- Provide trusted advice to senior executives. Translate technical cyber risk into clear business impacts and practical actions.
- Deliver risk insights through dashboards, reporting, and trend analysis. Support governance forums and executive discussions with clear, actionable information.
- Design and deliver cyber awareness and behavioural change initiatives. Drive risk awareness and uplift security culture across the organisation.
- Partner with People & Culture, Communications, and business leaders.



Embed secure behaviours and strengthen the “human firewall” through training and engagement programs.
- Support risk quantification and informed decision-making. Help leaders understand exposure and prioritise investment.
- Ensure alignment with government security policies and regulatory requirements. Balance compliance with operational outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement. Uplift security posture, organisational maturity, and cyber resilience over time.

Qualifications

- Strategic cyber security leader with strong experience in cyber risk management within complex environments.
- Excellent ability to translate technical risk into clear business language and help leaders make informed, confident decisions.
- Skilled in influencing senior stakeholders and driving behavioural change across diverse teams.
- Experience in cyber culture, awareness, and training initiatives. Understand how to strengthen workforce capability and engagement.
- Calm, pragmatic, and outcome-focused. Balance regulatory requirements with real-world delivery.
- Motivated by impact. Desire to uplift organisational maturity, improve risk practices, and strengthen cyber resilience at scale.
