About the Role

This is an opportunity for a hands‑on, hotel‑focused Hotel & Resorts Learning Manager to drive frontline capability uplift across EVT’s Hotels & Resorts portfolio.

Reporting to the Group Head of Organisational Effectiveness, this is a high‑impact, “game changer” role focused on moving the business from reactive training to structured, needs‑based learning that delivers real operational results.

Blending strong instructional design, facilitation capability and a deep understanding of frontline environments, you’ll diagnose real capability gaps and design practical, scalable learning solutions that work in day‑to‑day hotel operations.

You’ll play a key role in delivering a major brand standards rollout across QT, Rydges, Atura and LyLo, while also evolving systems, service and leadership capability across the network. This role is ideal for someone who understands how learning lands on the floor, not just in theory, but in the reality of rapid‑paced hotel environments. This is full time, fixed term 18‑month contract in our Organisational Effectiveness team.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose learning needs across hotels and translate them into structured, practical training solutions
- Design, optimise and deliver learning across customer service, systems training and leadership capability
- Lead the rollout of brand standards training across QT, Rydges, Atura and LyLo
- Create blended learning solutions including eLearning, face‑to‑face programs and on‑the‑job tools
- Facilitate engaging training sessions for frontline teams, leaders and General Managers
- Travel to hotels to deliver in‑person capability uplift and support operational teams




- Implement train‑the‑trainer approaches to enable leaders to deliver learning in daily operations
- Evaluate and evolve sales and systems training to improve impact, consistency and cost‑effectiveness

What You’ll Bring

- Proven experience in learning design from concept through to delivery, with strong instructional design capability
- Hands‑on facilitation experience across frontline teams and leadership groups
- Ability to translate learning into practical, usable tools that work in fast‑paced operational environments
- Experience engaging stakeholders and shaping solutions within complex, multi‑site organisations
- Understanding of frontline industries such as hospitality, retail or FMCG (hospitality highly regarded)
- Experience working with eLearning tools and LMS platforms
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive, delivery‑focused mindset
- Relevant qualifications in learning, HR or a related field (Cert IV in Training & Assessment highly regarded)
