Who are we looking for?
We are inviting passionate and skilled Allied Health Professionals to register their interest for fixed‑term and casual opportunities across Tasmania’s public health system.
The Allied Health Professional Fixed‑term and Casual Employment Registers enable currently registered Allied Health Professionals to be considered for full‑time, part‑time or casual roles for periods of up to 12 months.
These opportunities span hospital services, community health, and statewide mental health services, offering flexibility, career development, and exposure to diverse clinical settings.

Applications are welcome from Allied Health Professionals within the following disciplines:

- Medical Scientist
- Occupational Therapist
- Orthotist / Prosthetist
- Pharmacist
- Physiotherapist

- Other Allied Health professional groups (as applicable)

Essential Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of a relevant and approved allied health course of study at a recognised tertiary institution.
- Registered with the relevant National Board for professions regulated under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law or, in the case of self‑regulated professions, eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.
Please note that some roles may require you to hold current Tasmanian Working With Vulnerable People Registration.
Register Information
The register will remain open until 30 June 2028 and will be reviewed on a regular basis.
