About you
- Current certification: AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife.
- Competent in a birth suite and in caring for intrapartum patients.
- Minimum 18 months experience as a Registered Midwife in an Australian hospital setting (excluding placements).
- Dedicated to woman‑centred care, advocacy, and education.
- Excellent clinical skills with evidence‑based judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high‑quality, woman‑centred maternity care in line with Western Health standards.
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams across various maternity care areas.
- Promote evidence‑based midwifery practices and professional excellence.
- Support patient education, informed decision‑making, and cultural safety.
- Engage in continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the maternity setting.
Salary Range
RM 84,188.00 – 107,510.00 based on experience per Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employer) Enterprise Agreement .
