Our client is hiring an experienced Hospitality Service Manager for The Plough Inn Hotel located in South Brisbane QLD.

About The Role

As the Hospitality Service Manager of The Plough Inn Hotel, you will manage the day‑to‑day running of the venue, ensure strict compliance with QLD Liquor and Gaming regulations, and maintain the high standards our patrons expect. You'll be a hands‑on leader who thrives in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily venue operations, including opening and closing procedures
Ensure full compliance with QLD liquor licensing laws and obligations
Recruit, train, roster and manage staff across bar, floor and security
Maintain a safe, friendly, and vibrant atmosphere for all guests
Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships




Handle cash operations, reports, and other administrative duties
Lead promotions, events, and entertainment planning
Uphold the welcoming and friendly spirit of Plough Inn Hotel.

Requirements
Current RSA & RCG
Valid QLD Approved Manager's Card (or willingness to obtain)
Proven experience in a supervisory, managerial, or licensee role within hospitality
Robust understanding of QLD liquor legislation and venue compliance
Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
Passion for hospitality, community spirit, and creating memorable guest experiences
