Montgomery Advisory is partnering with a leading Australian law firm to recruit a Lawyer (2+ PQE) to join its highly regarded Restructuring & Insolvency team in Sydney.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of corporate restructuring, turnaround and insolvency matters, advising lenders, insolvency practitioners, distressed debt funds, corporates and company directors.
The role offers exposure to complex, high-value matters across industries including financial services, construction, mining, retail and media.
The Role
You will work across a diverse range of restructuring and insolvency matters, including:
Corporate restructuring and turnaround engagements
Formal and informal insolvency matters
Advising lenders, insolvency practitioners and distressed debt funds
Acting for corporates and company directors in distressed situations
Building strong client relationships while working closely with an experienced and collaborative team
About You
You will have:
2+ years' post-admission experience
Experience in restructuring and insolvency (or a mixed practice with relevant exposure)
Robust technical, drafting and analytical skills
A commercial mindset and genuine interest in restructuring and corporate recovery
A team-oriented approach and enthusiasm for building your career within a growing practice
