About the role

JT's Earthworks & Bulk Haulage is looking for experienced, reliable HC Truck & Dog Operators and a HR Water Cart Operator to join our team in Maitland, NSW.

What you'll be doing
Safely operating HC-licensed trucks and dog trailers to transport quarry material OR Safely operating HR-Water Cart in civil construction projects across the Newcastle and Hunter Region.
Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
Adhering to all relevant road rules, safety regulations, and company policies
Maintaining accurate logbooks and other necessary documentation
Accurately monitoring axle weights and gross limits
Providing excellent customer service and on-time deliveries

What we're looking for
Valid HC / HR driver's licence with a clean driving record
Experience operating HC-licensed trucks and dog trailers OR HR Water Carts
Familiarity with and commitment to the road transport industry regulations including Safety, COR, NHVAS Accreditation and PBS rules




Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable and responsible work ethic
Pride in your equipment with commitment to weekly housekeeping of interior and exterior of trucks
