Overview
Across the vast reaches of the Eyre Peninsula and Far North, communities rely on skilled nurses who bring care directly to them.
SA Health's Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) is establishing a ********* employment pool of Casual Enrolled Nurses to support Community Health services across various locations throughout the Eyre and Far North region, with positions available through to 30 June ****.
What You'll Be Doing
Delivering direct nursing care to community-based clients across the Eyre and Far North Community & Allied Health service, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
Contributing to individualised care plans, monitoring patient progress, and escalating changes in clinical condition appropriately
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including allied health professionals, GPs, and community support workers
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with EFNLHN policies and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia standards
What You'll Bring
Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA), with no restrictions on practice
Experience or demonstrated interest in community, primary health, or outpatient nursing settings
Sound understanding of person-centred care and the ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
A current, unrestricted South Australian driver's licence - community nursing in this region requires it
Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a distributed team
